Leading Adelaide apprentice Jamie Kah won’t be changing her front running tactics on Sistine Demon when the pair chase their first Group 1 success in the $500,000 The Tapestry Wines Goodwood (1200m) at Morphettville on Saturday.

Kah has two wins from two rides on emerging star Sistine Demon dictating from the front and can see no reason to change tactics even though the four year old is dropping back in distance.
“We’ll just try to do the same as last time but if he’s keen, I’ll just slip him a little bit more rein,” Kah told AAP.
Kah is currently on loan to Caulfield trainer Mick Price but will return to her home state on Saturday to try to win her first Group 1 in front of her home crowd which will include her family and friends.
“It’s pretty exciting for me and the ride has come at a great time,” Kah said.
“All my family will be at the track so it will be great.”
Kah has made a meteoric rise through the jockey ranks, taking out the Adelaide jockey’s premiership last season as well as claiming the champion apprentice award.
The eighteen year old is currently fourth on the jockey’s list but won’t be able to defend her premiership title as she is in the middle of a three month loan with Price.
Like Kah, Sistine Demon is also enjoying a dramatic rise up through the ranks and has won seven of his last eight outings, two with Kah aboard.
Trainer Andrew Noblet is also enjoying the successful run but has a slight concern that Sistine Demon is dropping back is distance after leading all of the way to score a six length win the Group 3 $150,000 Race-Tech Victoria Handicap (1400m) at Caulfield on April 19.
“If there is one question mark it is the step back in distance,” Noblet told Racing Network.
“I’d like it to be 1400-metres but the horse is super and he has freshened-up very well since his win at Caulfield.”
Sistine Demon’s latest three wins have been over 1400m, twice with Kah, and Noblet has no worries about teaming the young jockey and his stable star together again as they tackle Group 1 company for the first time.
“She’s ridden him twice for a combined nine-length winning margin, so she’ll stay on,” Noblet said.
Sistine Demon will come to Morphettville as the $5.50 favourite for the Goodwood ahead of last Saturday’s Sportingbet Stakes winner Miracles Of Life and reigning Goodwood champion Platelet, both marked at $7.
The Gai Waterhouse trained Driefontein, a winner on the track at her last two starts, is next in the betting at $8 ahead of Unpretentious at $10 and Sessions and Essay Raider at $11.
