The Tony Gollan trained Just Orm has been well supported in early betting for Saturday’s $65,000 Hamilton Hotel QTIS Two Years Old Handicap (1110m) and is the current $2.30 favourite at Ladbrokes.com.au.

The premiership winning trainer said that Just Orm has shown plenty of ability on the tracks and at the jump outs and the majority of the early money is probably coming from his large group of owners.

“I think it might be a case of a big group of owners getting a bit excited. I expect him to race well but he does have a tricky barrier and he is having his first start,” Gollan told AAP.

A win on Saturday will earn Just Orm $41,600 in eligible prizemoney which will be enough to secure a spot in the Magic Millions’ glamour two year old race.

Gollan is anticipating a forward performance from Falvelon youngster but does have some minor concerns with drawing barrier ten in the twelve horse field.

Tegan Harrison has been given the task of negotiating Just Orm from his wide gate and Gollan is hoping the two horses drawn outside of him, Greyt Start (barrier 11) and Rothabye (12), will help guide him to the fence.

“I suppose one advantage is that there are two pace horses drawn outside him in Greyt Start and Rothabye,” Gollan said.

“They will have to cross him.”

Just Orm has already been inserted into the Magic Millions 2yo Classic market order at Ladbrokes.com.au and has been marked at $17.

Gollan has already got a strong Magic Millions 2yo Classic presence with his unbeaten filly Zelady’s Night Out who is on the second line of betting at $7.

Zelady’s Night Out has recorded two wins from two starts at Doomben over 1050m with a combined winning margin of six and three quarter lengths.

The Peter and Paul Snowden trained Capitalist is also unbeaten from two starts and firmed even furthest to be the $2 favouirte for the Magic Millions 2yo Classic after winning the $200,000 Wyong Magic Millions 2yo Classic (1100m) at Wyong on Thursday.
