The lightly raced Bring Me The Maid is among the seventy fillies nominated for the Group 1 $1m Crown Oaks (2500m) at Flemington on November 6, up from fifty-one last year.

The Peter Moody trained Bring Me The Maid has recorded three wins from six starts and was desperately unlucky last start when eighth to Hallowed Crown in the Group 1 $1m De Bortoli Wines Golden Rose Stakes (1400m) at Rosehill on September 13.
Bring Me The Maid was also among the top two year old contenders last season and made up plenty of ground in the straight when third behind Mossfun and Earthquake in the Group 1 $3.5m Tooheys New Golden Slipper (1200m) at Rosehill during the Sydney Autumn Carnival.
The Sebring filly returned from a spell to win first-up in the Group 2 $175,000 Coolmore Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on August 23 before running in the Golden Rose Stakes.
Moody has also nominated Imperial Lass, a filly by Tavistock, and Real Saga filly Sagapuss.
Leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller has nominated two for the Crown Oaks, Fastnet Rock filly Amicus who was runner-up last start over 1400m at Caulfield on August 30 and the very promising Winx who suffered her first defeat from four starts when second to First Seal in the Group 2 $175,000 Coolmore Tea Rose Stakes (1400m) at Randwick last Saturday.
At her previous start the Street Cry filly looked good in beating Alpha Miss and Earthquake in the Group 2 $175,000 Coolmore Furious Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on September 6.
Trainer John Thompson looks like he might have a smart filly to help rebuild the stable after the closure of Patinack Farm and has nominated First Seal for the Crown Oaks after her surprise win in the Tea Rose Stakes.
Go Indy Go was the toast of the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas stable in the Autumn when she won the Group 1 $400,000 Moet & Chandon Champagne Stakes (1600m) at Randwick on April 26 as a two year old and was immediately set for the Crown Oaks.
But a disappointing first-up fifteenth of fifteen in the Group 2 $200,000 Danehill Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on September 13 has given Macdonald and Gluyas plenty of work to do to get her back to her best.
Team Hawkes has four fillies among the Crown Oaks nominations, Lady Sharapova, Medaglia D’Oro filly Dhahab, Mastercraftsman filly Maastricht, Zabeel filly Nakataan.
Fastnet Rock filly Lady Sharapova is the best performed of the four Hawkes’ fillies with a last start 6th behind First Seal in the Tea Rose Stakes.
Dane Hussler, who ran third in the Listed $80,000 Express Colour Printing Morphettville Guineas (1600m) at Morphettville on September 13, is the best credentialed of the David Hayes and Tom Dabernig seven fillies in the nominations which include Laskaal, Shacarde, Sound Advice, Taqaseem, Taste Of Money and Zoe’s Gift.
