James McDonald rode Impending to victory from barrier five in the six horse Group 2 $200,000 Stan Fox Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill on September 24 and Godolphin’s in-form number one jockey will have no trouble finding cover from the wide gate on the Impending.

The Lonhro colt was strong at the end of the 1500m and will have no trouble running out the 1600m of the Caulfield Guineas.

Kiwi three year old Scared Elixir will also be at home over the 1600m following his win over that distance in the Group 1 $600,000 BMW J.J. Atkins at Eagle Farm during the Brisbane Winter Carnival at the end of his two year old season.

Sacred Elixir has shown that he has retained his juvenile form with a first up win in the Group 3 $175,000 Ladbrokes Caulfield Guineas Prelude (1400m) at Caulfield on September 24 and will jump from barrier seven with Damian Lane in the saddle.

The Team Hawkes trained Divine Prophet has drawn barrier one and is certain to be given the run of the race by Dwayne Dunn who takes over the reins from Christian Reith who was aboard the Choisir colt when second to Impending in the Stan Fox Stakes.

Land Of Plenty from the Mick Price stable has drawn the outside gate at fourteen with Craig Newitt in the saddle again following the pair’s last start second to Hey Doc in the Group 2 $200,000 Strathmore Community Bank Stutt Stakes (1600m) at Moonee Valley last Friday night.

The Tony McEvoy trained Hey Doc has also drawn awkwardly and will jump from thirteen with Stutt Stakes winning jockey Luke Currie in the saddle again.

Evacuation from the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable has drawn barrier three with Kerrin McEvoy to ride while Kiwi colt Saracino has drawn next to him at four with Damien Oliver in the saddle again.

James Cummings will saddle up Good Standing who has drawn barrier eleven in the Caulfield Guineas with Hugh Bowman to ride and Caulfield Guineas Prelude runner up Revolving Door will push forward from barrier eight with Singapore based Corey Brown in charge of the reins.
