The 2015 Magic Millions Guineas field has been released and leading Brisbane trainer Tony Gollan is set to have a quarter of the field after including Fixation, Vienna Royale, Yeager and Hijack Hussy in the acceptances for the $1 million event.

Vienna Royale is the only Gollan-trained galloper taking winning form into the Magic Millions Guineas after he recorded just the second win of his career in the Hamilton Hotel Handicap (1200m) at Doomben on January 1, while Fixation and Yeager will need to turn around their form significantly after failing to fire in their three race starts this preparation.

Hijack Hussy stamped herself as a horse to watch when she won the Listed Lexus Hybrid Plate (1400m) at Flemington on November 4, but she has since suffered surprise defeats in the Listed Mode Plate (1200m) at Doomben on December 6 and the Group 3 Vo Rogue Plate (1300m) at the Gold Coast on December 27 after getting too far back in the field.

Mywayorthehighway scored the biggest win of her racing career to date when she upset Hijack Hussy in the Vo Rogue Plate and will have the chance to prove that win was no fluke in the Magic Millions Guineas.

The Swiss Ace filly went into the Vo Rogue Plate at the lengthy quote of $80, but led all the way to record a maiden black type win and earn a place in the 2015 Magic Millions Guineas field.

Gary Portelli-trained Testashadow, the promising Bold Circle, Chris Waller-trained Liberty Island, Wyong Magic Millions Stakes winner Aerobar and Victorian galloper Herstory will also be taking winning form into the Magic Millions Guineas.

One of the most interesting runners in the 2015 Magic Millions Guineas field is lightly-raced cult hero Murt The Flirt.

Murt The Flirt made his racing debut with an impressive win in the Magic Millions Three-Year-Old Classic (1100m) at Ballarat on November 22 before he could finish no better than fifth behind Aerobar in the Wyong Magic Millions Stakes.

The Wyong Magic Millions Stakes is set to be the key form reference to the Magic Millions Guineas; with Gai Waterhouse-trained Echo Gal and third placegetter Cyclone also backing up in the $1 million event this weekend.

Tales Of Fashion produced solid performances in both the Mode Plate and Vo Rogue Plate and is set to be the leading Gold Coast-based chance in the 2015 Magic Millions Guineas, while the final field is rounded out by Bryan Guy-trained Stroak as well as emergencies She’s Miss Devine, Mister Booze, Polynikes, I Am Zelady and I Am Impressed.
