Foxplay will be chasing a hat trick of wins when she lines up against fourteen other fillies in the Thousand Guineas and champion Sydney jockey Hugh Bowman will be back in the saddle again after steering the Foxwedge filly to victory in the Group 2 $175,000 Fitzy & Wippa’s Fast & Furious Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on September 3 and in the Group 2 $175,000 Tea Rose Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on September 17.

Tulloch Lodge co-trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott are keen to back up last Saturday’s Group 1 Flight Stakes winner Global Glamour in the Thousand Guineas after the Star Witness filly led all of the way for Tim Clark.

Kerrin McEvoy takes over this Saturday on Global Glamour who has drawn mid field at barrier eight.

The Henry Dwyer trained Leotie has drawn barrier fourteen with regular rider Chris Parnham in the saddle again while one of the roughies of the field Fromparis Withlove will jump from the outside gate with apprentice Ben Thompson to ride.

Kiwi co-trainers Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman have decided to put the blinkers on La Luna Rossa in the Thousand Guineas after the Written Tycoon filly finished second to Legless Veuve in the Group 2 $200,000 Schweppes Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) at Caulfield on September 24.

La Lune Rossa has drawn nicely at barrier seven with Damien Oliver keeping the ride.

Legless Veuve with Mark Zahra in the saddle again will be chasing a hat trick of wins after beating La Luna Rossa in the Thousand Guineas Prelude which followed her win in a 1205m Maiden at Sale on September 11.

Harlow Gold from the Lindsay Park stables of co-trainers David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig has found form at the right time with wins from her last two starts in a 1400m Pakenham Maiden on September 1 and in a 1600m three year old Handicap at Caulfield on September 17.

Harlow Gold will wear the winkers for the first time in the Thousand Guineas and will jump from the inside gate with Regan Bayliss in the saddle again.
