Eagle Farm trainer Desleigh Forster has high hopes for Too Good To Refuse and I’m Belucci when they line up in the Group 1 $500,000 Moet & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes (2000m) at Randwick on Saturday.

Even though both three year olds are coming off Doomben form, Forster is confident that Too Good To Refuse and I’m Belucci will do the stable proud.

“I am pretty happy with both of them. As long as they can both travel and get to Sydney in one piece, I think they are going to be very competitive,” Forster said.

“They are all good mates travelling together.”

Too Good To Refuse earned his trip over the border after he made it two wins on the trot at Doomben over 1350m on September 5 followed by a three and half lengths win over 1640m in three year old company on September 19.

“Too Good To Refuse is beautiful little horse,” Forster said.

“He’s very laid back and will cope with the trip.

“At home he works like that (A Group 1 horse), he just does what he has to do at home.”

While I’m Belucci received his travelling orders following a third in a 1600m three year old handicap at Doomben last Saturday.

South African born, Brisbane based jockey Robbie Fradd has been the regular rider for both of Forster’s runners but will stick with Too Good To Refuse who should get the run of the race from barrier three.

“Too Good To Refuse is pretty adaptable, you can ride him anywhere and hopefully on Saturday from the nice gate he should be able to get the box seat and hopefully get the job done,” Forster said.

“He carried a big weight and he was pretty dominant late (at Doomben). He quickened very quickly with a big weight off a slow tempo.”

Sydney jockeyTim Clark takes over on I’m Belucci who drew barrier nine in the ten horse field.

“Too Good To Refuse has the form on the board and has drawn nicely. Hopefully he can get a few favours in the run,” Forster said.

“Barrier nine won’t worry I’m Belucci and it’s not a bad alley for him as he gets back and can stay out of trouble.”

The Chris Waller trained Vanbrugh heads the market order at $1.95 on the back of his win in the Group 3 $200,000 Gloaming Stakes (1800m) at Rosehill on September 26 with Too Good To Refuse on the second line of betting at $4.80 after $7 was bet when the field was released on Wednesday.

I’m Belucci is one of the outsiders of the field at $26.
