Fenway will be dropping back in distance after running fourth to Preferment in the Group 1 $1.5m Australian Cup (2000m) at Flemington on March 12 but she is a winner over the Moonee Valley 1600m at her only attempt.

The Lee and Shannon Hope trained mare was successful in winning the Group 2 $200,000 StrathAyr Track Stock Stakes (1600m) at Moonee Valley during the 2015 Melbourne Spring Carnival.

But her major win was when she beat First Seal in winning the Group 1 $400,000 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill during the 2015 Sydney Autumn Carnival with Blake Shinn in the saddle.

Shinn will be in charge again but will have to get all the breaks from barrier thirteen in the early stages to secure some cover to give the High Chaparral mare every chance to get back into the winner’s stall.

In contrast, Damien Oliver will be able to give last start winner Wawail the run of the race from barrier one and give her every chance to secure back to wins after taking out the Group 3 $150,000 Frances Tressady Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on March 5.

The Darren Weir trained Felicienne and Metaphorical from the Peter Moody stable are set to clash again after finishing one two in the Group 3 $150,000 Schweppervescence Trophy (1600m) at Flemington on March 12.

Weir has stuck with apprentice Harry Coffey for Felicienne who has drawn barrier nine and Luke Currie has retained the mount on Metaphorical who will jump from gate seven.

Moody will also saddle up Dig A Pony, barrier twelve with Luke Nolen, and Anfitriona from barrier six with Daniel Stackhouse.

Miss Rose De Lago has drawn nicely at barrier two and gets her chance to make amends for her last start fourth as favourite to Felicienne in the Schweppervescence Trophy.

Fenway has been installed the $3 favourite at Ladbrokes.com.au for the Sunline Stakes ahead of Miss Rose De Lago at $5 and Wawail and Noble Protector at $6.50.

Sunline Stakes market order at Ladbrokes.com.au: $3 Fenway, $5 Miss Rose De Lago, $6.50 Wawail, Noble Protector, $9 Felicienne, $13 Metaphorical, $17 Choose, $26 Ungrateful Ellen, $31 Anaphora, $34 Anfitriona, Dig A Pony, $51 Japhils, Holy Cow.
