Missy Longstocking went into the Listed Mode Plate (1200m) at Doomben on December 7 as an odds-on favourite after performing well during the 2013 Spring Racing Carnival but was upset by Enquare who recorded the second win of her preparation after winning the River Junction Droughtmaster Handicap (1100m) at the start of her summer campaign.

Enquare has now recorded three straight victories but will need to be at her very best when she makes her debut at Group level against a strong field in the Vo Rogue Plate this weekend.

Another exciting rivalry that will be renewed in the Vo Rogue Plate on Saturday is that between Into The Red and Rudy who have already clashed two times during the 2013 Brisbane Summer Racing Carnival.

Rudy held off a fast-finishing Into The Red to win the Hardy Brothers Jewellers Handicap (1110m) at Doomben on November 30 but Into The Red turned the tables in the Listed Gold Edition Plate (1200m); with Rudy finishing a disappointing eighth.

Also backing up from the Gold Edition Plate will be runner-up Choose A Saga, third placegetter Gundy Spirit, Bryan Guy-trained Dalton, Husson gelding Smart Huss, Len Treloar-trained You Did What and top-weight Architect.

A horse bringing different form lines into the 2013 Vo Rogue Plate is the lightly-raced Shiraz Attack who made his racing debut with a second place finish behind Friendly Dragon earlier this year before finishing sixth behind Missy Longstocking in the Listed Lancaster Stakes (1200m).

Shiraz Attack started her summer campaign with a narrow second place finish behind Splendora in the Landfill Logistics Maiden (1200m) at Doomben on October 9 before recording his first race win in the Grinders Coffee Plate Maiden (1350m) at the same venue on October 23.

The Oratorio filly recorded her second straight win in the Paynter Dixon Handicap (1400m) at Eagle Farm on November 9 and had no luck when caught wide and striking interference in the Bundaberg Distilling Company Handicap (1500m) at Eagle Farm on November 23.

Rounding out the 2013 Vo Rogue Plate field are Casino Benjo, Neptune Palace, Royal Scribe and Splendora.
