Dual Group 1 winner Pride Of Dubai has been retired after the re-occurrence of a leg injury following his disappointing first up tenth in the Group 3 $150,000 Eskimo Prince Stakes (1200m) at Randwick last Saturday.

Pride Of Dubai was forced to miss the 2015 Spring Carnival because of bruising to his hind fetlock and the injury has flared up again forcing co-trainers Peter and Paul Snowden to call an end to his short career.
“We’ve been robbed of seeing his best,” Peter Snowden said.
The Street Cry colt will now stand at part owner’s Coolmore’s Hunter Valley Stud this breeding season alongside of Golden Slipper winner Vancouver.
“He’s going to make a gun stallion. Pride of Dubai has killer looks. We will support heavily in barn and sale ring,” part owners China Horse Club said on twitter.
Pride Of Dubai only went to the races on five occasions and was able to enter the Group 1 winner’s circle on two occasions.
At his third race start as a two year old Pride Of Dubai was able to win the 2015 Group 1 $1m Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield during the Autumn Carnival and then made it back to back Group 1 wins with victory in the $1m ATC Sires Produce Stakes (1400m) at Randwick.
Pride Of Dubai’s two wins, one second and a third earned him just over $1.33 million in prizemoney.
Team Snowden also decided to retire smart mare Dublin Lass after she was only able to beat one runner home when sixth of seven to Amicus in the Group 2 $175,000 NSW Thoroughbred Breeders NSW Breeders Classic (1200m) at Randwick last Saturday.
Dublin Lass was sent out the $2 favourite but after being caught wide in the middle stages, faded in the straight and a post race examination reveals the mare to be coughing on several occasions.
The O’Reilly mare was a seven time winner from nineteen starts, with two at listed level in the $100,000 Mittys Bright Shadow Handicap (1200m) at Doomben during the 2015 Brisbane Winter Carnival and a win in the $100,000 The HQ Of Insurance Starlight Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill last November.
