The Rosehill track has been rated a good 3 for Rosehill Guineas day which offers a great day of racing, as well as the best three year olds going around, the two years get their last chance to gain a start in the Group 1 $3.5m AAMI Golden Slipper (1200m) at Rosehill next Saturday.

Trainer Stuart Kendrick decided to give Doubtfilly her chance to gain a Slipper start after the filly struck a purple patch with wins from her last three starts.

Top Melbourne jockey Damien Oliver will take over from Daniel Griffin who won on Doubtfilly by over five lengths in the $250,000 Sky Racing QTIS 600 2yo Plate at the Gold Coast on March 17.

“Her win the other day was really impressive,” Kendrick said.

Kendrick picked the Not A Single Doubt filly up for $17,500 at the Magic Millions QTIS 600 sales last year after seeing Karuta Queen, who is by the same sire, win the Magic Millions 2yo Classic.

“She’s only a very small filly so that is probably a reflection on how we got her a little bit cheaper,” he said.

From six starts, Doubtfilly has already earned over $300,000 from four wins, with most of the prize money being QTIS bonuses and needs to win to earn a start in the Golden Slipper.

Doubtfilly is well in the market today at $6.50 behind the Anthony Cummings trained She’s A Fox at $3.70 who is also striving to gain a spot in the Golden Slipper.
