Classy fields have been confirmed for all Ten races at Doomben on Saturday and we have analysed every runner in each, in order to help you find a winner.

The action is set to get underway with the running of the Mekka Raceday Ratings 0-70 Handicap (1350m) at 11:10am and will conclude after the Events @ BRC BM80 (1200m) is run and won at 4:47pm.

Race 1 (11:10am) Mekka Raceday Ratings 0-70 Handicap (1350m)

A capacity field has been taken for Race 1 at Doomben on Saturday and there is several winning chances amongst the group. Naranja (barrier 10) has found terrific form recently, including a win over 1210m at Toowoomba last time out and while facing a step up in class, remains a live chance. Really Reilly (barrier 4) is sure to have taken plenty of benefit from his first-up run for 4th over 1200m at Doomben a fortnight ago, while Deitch (barrier 1) has been strong and consistent and is not without a hope of returning to winning form here. Great Moghul (barrier 12) has been charged with overcoming an awkward draw, but has won two of three starts this time and should be at peak fitness.

Tip: No. 7 Deitch ($3.90)

Race 2 (11:47am) Country Music Raceday Two-Years-Old Handicap (1050m)

Four emergencies were confirmed for Race 2 and following the early scratching of Legadema, the Stuart Kendrick-trained Splitlock (barrier 7) will now get a run. The Bernardini colt has finished a close second in each of his two starts this time and appears as though he will relish a step up in distance this weekend. Too Easy Bro (barrier 2) debuted for an impressive win and should only improve into this race, while Darktown Strutter (barrier 14) failed to fire last time out, but posted consecutive wins in her two starts prior. Felino Bel (barrier 6), Suerte (barrier 18) and Willowbrook Wonder (barrier 4) all loom as winning chances amongst this company.

Tip: No. 15 Splitlock – Each Way ($19/$6)

Race 3 (12:22pm) Canadian Club BM75 Handicap (1050m)

A open and capacity field has been confirmed for Race 3 on Saturday and there is subsequently plenty of value to be taken from a betting perspective. Saipan (barrier 5) can be forgiven for his last run and he managed to string together three-consecutive wins prior, while Tin’s Pocket (barrier 11) returned to winning form last time out and has now posted three wins from his four most-recent starts. Misery (barrier 3) is drawn ideally and in good form, but has been charged with overcoming a 61.5kgs topweight, while Live Fast (barrier 10) is in excellent condition and is not without a hope. Temujin’s Queen (barrier 4) returned to the races for a smart fourth a Dalby and should fly with a light weight and in-form apprentice Ruby Ride in the saddle.

Tip: No. 4 Live Fast ($4.20)

Race 4 (12:57pm) DA Ernst Open Handicap (2000m)

Arguably the strongest field of the day will line up in Race 4 at Doomben, including the likes of Loophole (barrier 11), Mr Epic (barrier 2) and King Viv (barrier 6). Saddled by Chris Waller, Loophole has yet to make much of an impact through three starts this time in, but will relish a step back in class into this field. Mr Epic was not far away last time out and is drawn ideally in gate 2, while King Viv (barrier 6) has performed well amongst strong company this time in, is drawn ideally and has the notable advantage of Jeff Lloyd in the saddle this weekend. Leprechaun Lad (barrier 1), Brigadier (barrier 9) and Monteux (barrier 10) are also live chances.

Tip: No. 6 King Viv ($2.90)

Race 5 (1:32pm) NFIA Class 3 Plate (1600m)

A strong field has also been confirmed for Race 5 on Saturday and there is a case to be made for a good portion of the capacity group. Former Godolphin galloper Gouldian (barrier 13) has steadily built to the task this time and will enjoy the Doomben mile, while Manndawi (barrier 19) is sure to have taken plenty of benefit from his first-up third at Ipswich and will take plenty of improvement into this race, while emergency runners Stella Gris (barrier 18) and Dagga Boy (barrier 21) have both gained starts and are primed for big runs. Heart Skipt A Beat (barrier 5) has a class edge on most of this field, is rock-hard fit and is drawn ideally.

Tip: No. 15 Sweet Adaline ($3.50)

Race 6 (2:12pm) Limes Hotel Rooftop Bar Three-Years-Old Handicap (1600m)

Fourteen horses remain in contention for Race 6, following the scratching of consistent filly Sweet Adaline. Real Mystique (barrier 2) is seeking a third-consecutive win in the race and is drawn well, while Bergerac (barrier 10) will have to overcome something of an awkward draw, but has the form and class to beat this field. Lucy Le Roc (barrier 6) finally returned to the winner’s circle with an impressive performance at Ipswich last week and will carry peak fitness into this race. Brickhall (barrier 3) and Sharpamal (barrier 5) both face a step-up in class, but are in the right form to win.

Tip: No. 3 Real Mystique ($6)

Race 7 (2:52pm) Smirnoff Pride Three-Years-Old Handicap (1600m)

Jexerlent (barrier 10) failed to fire last time out, but he has conditions to suits in Race 7 on Saturday and is primed for a big run. The Exceed And Excel gelding produced two outstanding performances to win at Ipswich and the Gold Coast in late June and early July, but was caught up in transit on the Sunshine Coast last time out and only managed to finish mid-pack. Sicario (barrier 1) has been strong and consistent and should find a good position in transit from the rails draw, while Windmill Follies (barrier 3), Bred For Luck (barrier 14) and Reset Me I’m Wild (barrier 5) are all live chances at current odds and in current form.

Tip: No. 6 Jexerlent – Each Way ($26/$6.30)

Race 8 (3:32pm) Spring Racing @ BRC Open Handicap (1350m)

Thirteen talented sprinters will contest Race 8 at Doomben on Saturday, including Aomen (barrier 6). The veteran has been outstanding since transferring to the care of Jeremy Sylvester, is drawn ideally and is primed for another big performance and win this weekend. Steel Zip (barrier 4) ran gallantly for seventh in the Listed Ramornie Handicap (1200m) last time out and will relish a drop in class, while Oxford Poet (barrier 2) is probably the class horse of the race and will be tough to beat, even with a race-high 58.5kgs in tow. Kris Lees has an excellent record in saddling horses in Brisbane and is well represented in this race by Savoureux (barrier 3), who has everything to suit. Dee Nine Elle (barrier 5) and Counter Meal (barrier 10) are both ready for big runs.

Tip: No. 1 Oxford Poet – Each Way ($6.50/$2.40)

Race 9 (4:12pm) #BNERaces Two-Years-Old & Three-Years-Old Plate (1200m)

A big field has also been confirmed to step out for Race 9 at Doomben and there is plenty of value to be taken from a betting perspective. Impregnable (barrier 10) will need to show some early pace to not get lost from his central draw, but he is seeking a third-consecutive win and has Jeff Lloyd in the saddle once more. Oink (barrier 6) worked home well to finish third on the Sunshine Coast last time and will only improve at Doomben, while French Jet (barrier 3) is a proven first-up performer and is set for a big run after trialling well. Mishani El Lobo (barrier 15) is the first emergency and will be tough to beat, should he gain a start.

Tip: No. 5 Impregnable – Each Way ($18/$5.70)

Race 10 (4:47pm) Events @ BRC BM80 Handicap (1200m)

The final race at Doomben on Saturday has drawn several talented horses, including Havasay (barrier 9). The gelding returned to the races for an impressive win at Grafton and while clearly facing a step up in class into this race, will carry plenty of improvement into the race. Magnus Cor (barrier 13) should also improve but is drawn awkwardly, while Three Sheets (barrier 14) and Royal Occasions (barrier 17) both have the class and ability to win a race of this calibre. First emergency Back Slapper (barrier 8) has gained a start and will have conditions to suit.

Tip: No. 10 Havasay ($4.40)
