One of few noted pace horses in the field, Didntcostalot jumped from the gates well and was allowed to stride forward by jockey Tegan Harrison; taking a position at the fore of the classy field of ten.

Offered a clear racing line upon arriving at the final straight, the Danerich entire immediately responded when asked for an extra effort; pulling clear of his rivals and hitting the line at blistering pace; just off the course 1200m record set by equine superstar Takeover Target.

Gollan was understandably thrilled with Didntcostalot’s performance for success in the 2015 George Moore Stakes and was quick to lay the praise on the talent of horse and a great ride by jockey Tegan Harrison.

“When Charge Account, who was the other likely pace was scratched I told Tegan it made no difference to us,” Gollan said.

“She was to get out and go.”

The George Moore Stakes was Didntcostalot’s sixth race start this campaign, and Gollan confirmed he will now return to the paddock for a brief freshen-up before being set for the Magic Millions Sprint (1100m) on the Gold Coast in January.

“He will have his next start in the Magic Millions Sprint over 1100m on January 9th,” Gollan said.

“It is six weeks away and he races well fresh.”

Harrison delivered a gem of a ride on Didntcostalot in the George Moore Stakes and revealed she was particularly pleased to chalk-up the win having also been offered the ride on Temple Of Boom in the race.

“It was a tough call when Tony offered me the ride on Temple, but Didntcostalot had been winning so well and running fast times I thought he deserved his chance and he’s done me proud,” Harrison said.

“I am extremely happy about that.

“There is no key to riding him. He makes it feel easy and you just let him run his own race.”

In taking out the 2015 George Moore Stakes, Didntcostalot has now posted an impressed ten wins and seven minors through his 36 start career.
