Kiwi rider Jason Collett is banking on She’s Clean’s tenacity to maintain their winning combination in the Group 1 $500,000 Sky Racing Tattersall’s Tiara (1400m) at Eagle Farm tomorrow.

Trainer Chris Waller is giving She’s Clean the ultimate test stepping up to Group 1 level following her third consecutive win in the Listed $100,000 June Stakes (1200m) at Randwick with Collett saying her will to win will compensate the huge rise in class.
“She was pretty good to win last start, she tries very hard so if she lacks any class she makes up for it that way,” Collett said.
“I think she is a top chance.”
“She is in form and that is one thing I really like and she is fit and well.”
Collett teamed up with She’s Clean this preparation scoring first up on the Redoute’s Choice mare over 1100m at Randwick before the pair combined again for the June Stakes win.
The young jockey is anxiously awaiting his first Group 1 victory and has a good feeling about his prospects tomorrow after drawing well at barrier four.
“She has a good gate so she has few things in her favour,” Collett said.
“I’m happy with barrier four, I would have preferred to draw in than out and she can be a lot handier than she was last start.”
One of She’s Clean main opponents will be stablemate Red Tracer who stamped herself as the top fancy with a last start win in the Group 2 $200,000 Patinack Farm Dane Ripper Stakes (1400m) at Eagle Farm two weeks ago.
A Group 1 win is not far away for Red Tracer after the mare was runner-up twice to Appearance during the Sydney Autumn Carnival in the Group 1 $600,000 Coolmore Classic (1500m) on March 23 and the Group 1 $400,000 Inglis Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1500m) on April 6, both at Rosehill.
The Eagle Farm track will be rain affected again this week after steady rain has been falling all day Friday, but that won’t bother either of the Waller runners.
Red Tracer is regarded as one of the best wet trackers in the country while She’s Clean has also recorded wins on slow and heavy tracks.
Collett has teamed up with Waller since making the move from New Zealand this season and is currently in equal ninth position with Jim Cassidy on the Sydney jockey premiership with forty wins while Hugh Bowman is well clear in the lead with sixty-eight and a half wins.
With the prospect of a wet track, Red Tracer has been promoted to the top of the betting and is now the $4 favourite ahead of dual Group 1 winner Streama at $4.60.
Promising filly Peron is the third pick at $6.50 while Streama’s stablemate Skyerush is the only other runner under double figures at $9 with Steps In Time at $10 and She’s Clean marked as an $11 chance.
