Top Melbourne jockey Glen Boss is very keen on the chances of Irish import Voleuse De Coeurs in the Group 1 $1.5m The BMW (2400m) at Rosehill on Saturday.

Boss was aboard Voleuse De Coeurs when the imported mare galloped over 1200m in between races at Moonee Valley on Saturday and was very happy with the workout.
“She’s holding her condition well and she’s in a good space,” Boss told AAP.
“She’ll certainly be a top three chance I reckon.”
Boss wasn’t riding on Saturday because of suspension but can’t wait to get back to Sydney for Golden Slipper Day on Saturday to ride Voleuse De Coeurs in the 2400m weight for age The BMW.
Boss is hoping that the Rosehill track is on the wet side again this week after last Saturday’s Rosehill Guineas day started on a heavy 9 with the give out of the ground to further help the chances of Voleuse De Coeurs.
“As long as she gets a proper soft track, she’ll give them a shake next week,” Boss said.
“She’s just got a much better action on soft ground.”
Trainer Mike Moroney took over the training of the Teofilo mare from champion Irish trainer Dermott Weld after she won the Group 1 €200,000 Gain Irish St Leger (1 mile, 6 furlongs) at the Curragh in Ireland last September.
Moroney saddled the mare up when she ran tenth to Fiorente in the Group 1 $6m Emirates Melbourne Cup (3200m) at Flemington last Spring before sending her for a spell.
Voleuse De Coeurs with Boss in the saddle ran a respectable first up fifth to Fiorente in the Group 1 $1m Darley Australian Cup (2000m) at Flemington on March 8 and Moroney is happy with the way she has progressed since.
“She’s come through the run in the Australian Cup in good order and I could not be happier with her,” Moroney said.
Voleuse De Coeurs is one of seventeen nominated for The BMW and will be coming up against Fiorente again as well as top Kiwi gallopers It’s A Dundeel and last start Group 1 Ranvet Stakes winner Silent Achiever.
Melbourne Cup and Australian Cup winner Fiorente heads The BMW betting at $3.80 in the Ladbrokes.com.au market order in front of It’s A Dundeel at $4 and Silent Achiever at $5.
Australian Cup runner-up Green Moon is next in the betting at $6 in front of the Chris Waller trained Hawkspur at $9 and Junoob at $10 while Voleuse De Coeurs is quoted as a $26 chance.
