Trainer Bjorn Baker had also entered Bonny O’Reilly in the Group 2 $200,000 Schweppes Shannon Stakes (1500m) but after the mare drew barrier nine in the eleven horse field, the Warwick Farm trainer elected to stick to her own sex in the Golden Pendant.

Bonny O’Reilly drew in close at barrier three in the thirteen horse Golden Pendant field against the fillies and mares and will be ridden by Jason Collett again.

Tim Clark was aboard Bonny O’Reilly for her first up win in a 1200m BenchMark 95 Handicap on August 29 and then Collett took over last start for a fifth to Ravi in the Group 3 $125,000 Irresistible Pools Sheraco Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill on September 9.

“She’s a horse that needs a good draw,” Baker told AAP.

Baker has also double accepted with Lubton who will jump from barrier nine with Glyn Schofield in the Golden Penadant and has drawn barrier seven in the Shannon Stakes.

Lubiton scored a solid win two starts back in the Listed $125,000 Mona Lisa Stakes (1350m) at Wyong on September 1 but then missed a place when eighth to Zanbagh in the Group 3 $150,000 Yarraman Park Tibbie Stakes (1400m) at Newcastle on September 15.

The Winx combination of trainer Chris Waller and jockey Hugh Bowman will team up again with Omei Sword (barrier 2) in the Golden Pendant.

Omei Sword is yet to regain her best form at two runs this campaign and after running fifth to Deploy in the Group 3 $150,000 Suttons Show County Quality (1200m) at Randwick on August 19 finished sixth to Ravi in the Sheraco Stakes.

Trainer Ron Quinton will saddle up two mares in the Golden Pendant, number one saddlecloth holder Dixie Blossoms and the consistent Daysee Doom.

Both mares draw barriers in the outside section of the field with Dixie Blossom coming up with gate eight with Corey Brown to ride and Daysee Doom to jump from one from the outside with apprentice Andrew Adkins retaining the mount.

The Team Hawkes trained Euro Angel has drawn the rails with Brenton Avdulla taking the ride again after partnering the five year old mare in her last two outings for a second to Golden Pendant rival Sweet Redemption in the Group 3 $150,000 Toy Show Quality (1300m) at Randwick on August 19 and a third to Deploy in the Group 2 $200,000 Theo Marks Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill on September 9.
