Black Heart Bart will be lining up for the second time this Autumn with Brad Rawiller in the saddle and the six year old will be clashing again with Malaguerra who has drawn the outside gate with Ben Melham to ride again..

The Peter Gelagotis trained Malaguerra was too nippy for Black Heart Bart when the pair finished one, two, in the Group 2 $200,000 Browns Sawdust And Savings Australia Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on January 27 with a  two lengths margin between them.

Coming back to Caulfield will suit Black Hart Bart better with the gelding winning both his attempts over the Caulfield 1400m course, including a win in the Group 1 $500,000 New Zealand Bloodstock Memsie Stakes during the 2016 Melbourne Spring Carnival.

Weir has three runners in the Ladbrokes C.F. Orr Stakes and will also saddle up Group 1 winners Lucky Hussler and Palentino.

Lucky Hussler has drawn barrier four with Damian Lane to ride while Palentino will jump from gate seven with Mark Zahra in the saddle.

The Leon and Troy Corstens trained Awesome Rock will kick off his Australian Cup campaign in the Ladbrokes C.F. Orr Stakes and has drawn in close at barrier three with Stephen Baster to ride again.

Awesome Rock will be having his first start since Baster combined with him to win the Group 1 $2m Emirates Stakes (2000m) at Flemington on the last day of the 2016 four day Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Kiwi galloper Turn Me Loose has had one back from a break for a seventh to Malaguerra in the Australia Stakes and will be better suited back at Caulfield where he won the Group 1 $500,000 italktravel Futurity Stakes (1400m) almost twelve months ago during the 2016 Melbourne Autumn Carnival.

The Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman trained five year old has drawn nicely at barrier two with Kerrin McEvoy to ride again.

He’s Our Rokkii is another who has won at Group 1 level at Caulfield when he took out the $500,000 IG Markets Toorak Handicap (1600m) during the 2016 Melbourne Spring Carnival.

Regan Bayliss takes the ride on Lindsay Park trained He’s Our Rokkii who will jump from gate nine.

2016 Caulfield Cup winner Jameka is resuming and has drawn barrier ten with Luke Nolen taking the mount while Divine Prophet, the only three year old in the weight for age Ladbrokes C.F. Orr Stakes, will jump from gate six with his Caulfield Guineas winning jockey Dwayne Dunn back in the saddle.
