The filly with the big build, big price tag and world famous big sister has arrived at Flemington to begin her first racing campaign.

Belle Couture, a half-sister to the recently retired Black Caviar, will be prepared by Danny O’Brien and could make her debut as early as June.

BC3 Thoroughbreds paid $2.6 million for Belle Couture at last year’s Easter yearling sale and BC3 representative Simon Marshall said they are excited by her early development.

“She’s grown out to be a lovely, big girl and a very good size like her mother,” Marshall told Racing Victoria.

The unraced youngster could be set for some spring carnival features but Marshall said the important thing is allowing her to get comfortable as a racehorse.

“There are a number races that we’ll put on the table but at this stage she’s just got to have a good experience and get a full preparation under her belt and we’ll go from there,” Marshall said.

“She can get in there and have a full experience in the stable and can get to know she is a racehorse.”

By super stallion Redoute’s Choice out of top broodmare Helsinge, her pedigree will ensure her career is heavily scrutinised.

Through Helsinge she is a half-sister to both Black Caviar and superstar colt All Too Hard.

Meanwhile, a decision on a trip to Royal Ascot for All Too Hard will be made by the end of this week after he chalked up a third consecutive Group 1 win in the All Aged Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.
