Pasadena Girl has been backed into 2015 Crown Oaks odds of $7.50 and trainer Peter Moody is confident that she is ready to run well in the Group 1 event at Flemington this afternoon.

Pasadena Girl stamped herself as a filly to watch when she took out the Group 1 Champagne Stakes (1600m) during the 2015 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival and she has performed well without winning in four race starts this preparation.

The Savabeel filly returned to the races with a fast-finishing second behind Stay With Me in the Listed Atlantic Jewel Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on September 5 and she was not suited by the tempo in the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) at Caulfield on September 26 before she made up ground late in both the Group 1 Thousand Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield on October 10 and the Group 2 Moonee Valley Vase (2040m) on October 24.

Moody told Racing Ahead this morning that he was happy with the way that Pasadena Girl in the Moonee Valley Vase, but he is hopeful that she will be able to produce an improved performance with a number of factors in her favour in the Group 1 Crown Oaks (2500m) at Flemington this afternoon.

“She had a sweet run there,” Moody said.

“She dropped the bridle at the 800 and looked like she was going to drop out of it, but she got going again and finished the race off.

“Whether she was uncomfortable in amongst horses or on the firmish ground or we rode her a bit too close, we will be riding her a bit more patient today.

“Plenty of give in the ground is not going to hurt her and she goes there in good shape.

“I think she is going to be a miler, but at this time of the year as a three-year-old filly she has had the right prep top get the trip.”

Pasadena Girl is set to wear a tongue tie for the first time in the Crown Oaks and Moody is hopeful that the minor gear change will help the Group 1 winner keep her mind on the job in the $1 million event this afternoon.

“It is just a little minor alteration there,” Moody said.

“I just thought that she might have been playing with her tongue a little bit in racing and I am just covering all bases.”

Pasadena Girl is currently available at 2015 Crown Oaks odds of $7 with Ladbrokes and she is on the fourth line of betting behind Jameka ($3.70), Ambience ($4) and Sacred Eye ($4.20).

I think everything said was actually very logical.
However, what about this? suppose you added a little content?
I am not suggesting your information is not solid., however what if you added a headline to maybe grab people’s attention? I mean Big Money For Pasadena Girl In Crown Oaks Betting
    – HorseRacing.com.au is a little plain. You should look at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create post headlines to get
viewers to open the links. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab people excited
about everything’ve written. Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
