Benefit Golf Day for Kristy Banks

The racing fraternity are getting behind Kristy Banks with fund raising golf benefit day at the Dalby Golf Club on April 22.

Organisers are hoping 150  people will attend the three man-ambrose event.

Raffles, prizes and a barbeque will be all park of the fun day which is open to the public and will be attended by much of the racing fraternity.

The days  hit off times will be  6.30am and 12pm.

Kristy Banks suffered severe spinal injuries as well several other shocking injuries when her mount August Bishop fell in Toowoomba back on December 31 last year.

She was rushed to Princess Alexandra hospital for emergency surgery and the 30 year old is expected to be in hospital for three months and is facing the prospect of life in a wheel chair.
