Allen replaces the suspended Katelyn Mallyon who was aboard Super Cash when she scored a one and a quarter lengths win in the Group 2 $200,000 Schweppes Rubiton Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on February 11.

Mallyon was suspended last Saturday for twelve meetings for causing interference at the 150m in the Listed $120,000 Roy Higgins Quality (2600m) at Flemington when she allowed her mount Northwest Passage to shift inwards at the top of the straight resulting in Dean Yendall on Dandy Gent being hampered.

Trainer Andrew Noblet said that he has no worries replacing Mallyon with the boom apprentice on Super Cash who will carry 52kg in the Newmarket Handicap.

“He is a rider on the up and he is riding really well. He has got his eye in at the moment and that’s what we are after,” Noblet told racing.com.

Noblet has reported that Super Cash has done well since her Rubiton Stakes win and a month in between runs is not a problem.

“She is in good order. She is going to have a month in between runs when Saturday comes around,” Noblet said.

“She had a week down on the water walker and came back super, trialled really well last Tuesday. Really looking forward to Saturday with her.”

In early betting for the Newmarket Handicap at Ladbrokes.com.au Super Cash is rated a $15 chance alongside of Oakleigh Plate winner Sheidel and Black Caviar Lightning victor Terravista.

The Bryce Heys trained Spieth sits at the top of the market order at $3.60 and deserves favouritism after being beaten a nose at his last two runs down the Flemington straight for a second to Malaguerra in the Group 1 $1m Darley Classic (1200m) at Flemington on November 5 during the 2016 Melbourne Cup Carnival before resuming for a second to Terravista in the Group 1 $750,000 Black Caviar Lightning (1000m) at Flemington on February 18.

Early market order for the Newmarket Handicap at Ladbrokes.com.au: $3.60 Spieth, $6 Extreme Choice, $8 Star Turn, Illustrious Lad, $13 Hellbent, Chautauqua, $15, Terravista, Sheidel, Super Cash, $17 Redkirk Warrior, Fell Swoop, $21 Supido, Counterattack, Tivaci, $26 Voodoo Lad, Faatinah, The Quarterback, $34 or better the rest.
