Champion jockey Darren Beadman produced his second gun ride for the day to bring up a winning double when Love Conquers All won the Group 3 Betfair Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.

Trained by team Hawkes, John, Michael and Wayne, the triple Group 1 placegetter took full advantage of barrier one.

Beadman settled Love Conquers All third on the fence behind early leader Utah Saints, who pulled and set a quick speed.

Despite a headwind in the straight, the Hong Kong based hoop sent the son of Mossman to the front after straightening and the race never looked in doubt.

Beadman won earlier in the day aboard Gliding in a similar uncomplicated ride that gave his mount every possible chance.

“He had a good cover and with the wind, Darren pulled out at the right time,” Wayne Hawkes said.

“He had the winners run, when you draw barrier one.

“Really he has placed Group 1 about three times so he gets into these set weight races really well.”

Love Conquers All defeated Albert The Fat by one and a half lengths with Pinwheel a length away third.

Both placegetters ran on well, particularly Albert The Fat who was held up at the top of the straight.

Love Conquers All was runner-up to Sacred Choice in the Group 1 Doncaster Handicap (1600m) in the autumn and will be set for the $1m Emirates Stakes (1600m) at Flemington on November 8.
