Corey Brown finds himself back on The Mission who hasn’t raced since winning the Group 1 $500,000 Moet & Chandon Champagne Stakes (1600m) at Randwick during the 2017 Sydney Autumn Carnival with Damian Lane in the saddle.

Brown is no stranger to The Mission and the pair combined for a win in the Group 3 $150,000 The Schweppervescence (1400m) at Rosehill on March 25.

Perry has given The Mission two barrier trials in preparation for his return with a second over 800m at Gosford on August 2 followed by a win in a 1200m Newcastle trial on August 16.

Trainer Gerald Ryan has also trialled Trapeze Artist for a win over 1020m at Rosehill on September 4 after his first up sixth in the Group 3 $150,000 Up and Coming Stakes (1300m) at Randwick on August 19.

“I trialled Trapeze Artist because he is going to 1500 metres second-up and I thought he needed it,” Ryan told AAP.

Ryan has taken the blinkers off Trapeze Artist who has drawn the rails in the eight horse Stan Fox Stakes field and the Snitzel colt will have the services of the in-form Kerrin McEvoy who rode a personal best five winners on Chelmsford Stakes Day at Randwick last Saturday.

Addictive Nature scored a gutsy all the way win in the Group 3 $150,000 Monaco Cup – Ming Dynasty Quality (1400m) at Rosehill on August 26 and trainer Bjorn Baker is stepping the Savabeel colt up in class again.

Tim Clark sticks with Addictive Nature who will jump from barrier five.

Tulloch Lodge co-trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott will saddle up Gold Standard (Josh Parr, barrier 2) who handled the huge step up in class last start when a head second to Dracarys in the Up and Coming Stakes.
