Arabian Gold has not recorded a race win since she upset Catkins in the Group 3 Golden Pendant (1400m) in September last year, but she has produced two impressive efforts without having any luck in the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens on March 14 and the Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m) at Royal Randwick on April 6.

Silent Achiever is another galloper that has not entered the winners’ stall for a while, but she is on the second line of Hollindale Stakes betting markets at a quote of $5 due to her consistent form during the 2015 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

The O’Reilly mare was far from disgraced in the Group 2 Apollo Stakes (1400m), Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes (1600m), Group 1 Ranvet Stakes (2000m) and Group 1 The BMW (2400m), but there are some concerns about how she will handle the step back to 1800 meters in the Hollindale Stakes.

Pornichet is unlikely to earn a start in the Hollindale Stakes, but is being kept safe by bookmakers at odds of $6.50 and is on the third line of betting alongside fellow Doncaster Mile runner Hooked.

Hooked tired in the final stages of the Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m) to finish 13th and he is set to step up to 1800 metres for the first time since he finished fourth in the Group 3 Frank Packer Plate (2000m) during the 2014 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

Leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller has included four horses in the Hollindale Stakes field and Moriarty ($7.50) and Hawkspur ($8) are rated his best chances of recording his third win in the race after previously being successful with Metal Bender in 2010 and My Kingdom Of Fife in 2011.

Moriarty returned to racing with a credible eighth in the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m) and was saved from the Hollindale Stakes after being scratched from the Doncaster Mile, while Hawkspur returned to a semblance of his best form with third place finishes in both the Group 3 Sky High Stakes (200m) and Group 3 Neville Sellwood Stakes (2000m).

First emergency Leebaz is the only other horse available at single figure Hollindale Stakes odds and is currently available at a quote of $8.

I’m Imposing has been an early market mover in the 2015 Hollindale Stakes betting market with Ladbrokes and the imported galloper is in to $26 after opening at $41 yesterday afternoon.
