Aquanita Racing Goes Four In A Row

Aquanita Racing is celebrating a marvellous achievement this week with a string of winners kicking off their new season in the best possible style.

They’ve managed a rare effort, four winners on four consecutive days across four different race tracks, a great testament to the developing strength of their operation.

The streak kicked off on Monday in Victoria when Bay Flash got the job done in Race 2 at Swan Hill.

In a field of 11 runners he pulled clear up the straight and looked a sure thing with 200m to go.

Things weren’t quite as easy at the death though with a late charge from Metallic Grey forcing him to work all the way to the line.

He ended up holding on by a head though with brilliant work from jockey Jack Hill.

Tuesday came along and with it another win for the Aquanita Racing team.

This time it was in Geelong and the spoils belong to Classic Elle in Race 1.

While the field of eight may not have been the strongest ever assembled there’s no doubting this horse appears to have the goods to deliver at a higher level.

She never looked to be in any trouble across the 1200m and the final five length margin could have been anything had Kelvin Sanderson rode her hard all the way to the line.

On Wednesday it was a trip to Mornington and with it a trip over the hurdles.

Aquanita Racing had two representatives in the race but it was the promising Marked Danger which delivered the win.

It’s exciting times for the connections of the horse as he picks up his second win over the jumps in fine style.

The final margin was over a length from a late finishing Berlioz.

With three wins in three days that put the pressure on Backen Lay in Race 1 at Ballarat today.

He was favoured in the markets but he’d never before run on a track quite like the Heavy 10 they’re experiencing today.

To his credit he handled it brilliantly and showed plenty of fight to just get home in the final few strides.

That gives Aquanita Racing four in a row as they head towards their ultimate goal this Sunday in the Grand National Hurdle.

Superstar jumper Black And Bent will be out to claim his fourth straight win in the $200,000 event over 3900m.

It would cap off what has been a tremendous week for Aquanita Racing with their streak showing no signs of letting up just yet.
