Robinson is an important link in the chain of events leading up to Singleton’s extraordinary allegations directed to Waterhouse and her bookmaker son Tom Waterhouse before and after the running of the Group 1 $400,000 Yarraman Park All Aged Stakes (1400m) in which his glamour mare More Joyous finished a fading seventh.

Originally agreeing to attend Monday’s hearing at the request of chief steward Ray Murrihy, Murphy has stated today that Robinson is not well enough to travel to the Sydney offices.

“Without going into his health issues I can assure you he is not up to the task in his current condition,” Chris Murphy said.

“Allan will not be going to the More Joyous Inquiry. He is in no position to endure the stress. He pushed himself to undergo the Today Tonight interview to tell of his simple role in the More Joyous investigation.”

“He soldiers on.

“I can indicate that he is not going to be put at risk by the pressures of attending the Ray Murrihy investigation.”

Rugby League Legend Andrew Johns and punter Eddie Hayson have also been asked to attend the hearing to give their accounts of the information received by Singleton that More Joyous couldn’t win the All The Age Stakes.

Singleton said that he was informed by close friends on Saturday morning that Tom Waterhouse had allegedly said that More Joyous was not one hundred per cent and couldn’t win on Saturday.

Following the race stewards opened an inquiry into the poor performance of More Joyous with Gai Waterhouse revealing that the mare had undergone treatment late in the week for a minor condition that she thought would not affect her performance

The high profile inquiry will resume on Monday with Gai Waterhouse, her son Tom, Singleton, Johns and Hayson to attend and give evidence.
