But if Australia’s most valuable stallion prospect is to make it to Hong Kong, he will have to make a whirlwind trip as the Champions Mile takes place just eight days after his next scheduled start in the All Aged Stakes at Randwick.

The half-brother to Black Caviar has established superstar status in his young career, winning six of 11 starts including three times at Group 1 level.

The Champions Mile has attracted a quality list of entrants, exciting Hong Kong Jockey Club Executive Director of Racing William Nader.

“It is always exciting to see how Hong Kong’s proven and rising stars match up against many of the world’s best horses,” Nader said.

“We have attracted high-calibre candidates from around the globe.”

Joining All Too Hard in nominations from Australia are Chris Waller’s multiple Group 1 winners Shoot Out and Danleigh, Michael Moroney-trained entire Glass Harmonium and Adelaide three-year-old Essay Raider.

Shoot Out is being set on a path towards the Doncaster Mile, the race in which he finished second behind glamour mare More Joyous last year.

The former Queensland gelding kicked off his autumn campaign with a win in the Chipping Norton Stakes, taking his Group 1 tally to five and his career record to 10 wins from 33 starts.

Nine-year-old Danleigh continues to defy his age, finishing third in the Chipping Norton on the back of a third-place finish in the Apollo Stakes.

The Mujahid gelding has won 10 of an incredible 59 starts including four times in the top grade.
