Pasadena Girl has more than stamped her claims as a filly to follow through her short racing career so far, and has been confirmed by trainer Peter Moody in 2015 Thousand Guineas second acceptances.

Debuting to racing in autumn for consecutive wins in the Listed Talindert Stakes (1100m) and Group 3 Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes (1200m), Pasadena Girl ran on for a credible third in the Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) before posting a maiden win at the highest level in the Group 1 Champagne Stakes (1600m) on April 18th.

Having returned this time for a close second in the Listed Atlantic Jewel Stakes (1200m), the Savabeel filly will relish the 1600m of the 2015 Thousand Guineas and should find the race in peak order.

Gai Waterhouse appears likely to launch a multi-pronged attack on the Group 1 race for fillies after including Speak Fondly, Flamboyant Lass and Sempre Libera in 2015 Thousand Guineas second acceptances.

Undoubtedly Waterhouse’s best chance of success, Speak Fondly returned this time for consecutive wins in each of the Group 2 Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) and Group 2 Furious Stakes (1200m) before running on for second in the Group 1 Golden Rose (1400m) on September 12th.

Flamboyant Lass announced her racing arrival with several good results in autumn including a close run for third in the Group 2 Blue Diamond Prelude (1100m), but returned to the paddock following a disappointing performance for 13th in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m).

Performing well in a pair of minor Sydney sprints upon debuting in autumn, Sempre Libera made a competitive debut to black type racing in finishing fourth in the Group 3 Percy Sykes Stakes (1200m), and returned to the paddock after a credible fifth in the Group 2 Champagne Classic (1200m) in Brisbane on May 9th.

Having returned this time for fourth in the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes (1400m) over the weekend, the daughter of Medaglia D’Oro appears as though she will relish a mile.

Gold Coast-based trainer Toby Edmunds has been understandably thrilled with the results posted by Sagaronne through her short career so far, and has confirmed the filly in 2015 Thousand Guineas second acceptances.

Sagaronne failed to make anything of an impact in her racing debut in January and was returned to the paddock; a decision franked when she returned on May 9th for success in the Tradies Day Maiden (1200m).

Completing a successful transition to black type racing in taking out the Listed Phoenix (1350m) on May 30th, the Real Saga filly produced a monumental turn of foot to finish second behind Press Statement in the Group 1 JJ Atkins (1600m) on June 6th.

Ladbrokes Australia have instilled Stay With Me as $4.80 favourite in 2015 Thousand Guineas betting markets.
