Aerobar is on top of the 2015 Magic Millions Guineas tips of Nathan Exelby and he believes that the filly represents great value at her current quote of $8.50.

Aerobar has been an inconsistent performer since she made her racing debut in February last, but the application of blinkers worked wonders for the three-year-old and she recorded an impressive win in the Wyong Magic Millions Stakes (1200m) on December 18.
Exelby told RSN that the Wyong Magic Millions Stakes has proven to be an excellent form reference for the Magic Millions Guineas and he rates Aerobar an excellent chance to record an upset win in the $1 million event.
“Two of the last four winners have come through Wyong to win this race and Aerobar sat on the speed there and raced away at the end,” Exelby said.
“She clocked very fast time there and broke 19.
“If you look at the form you think her two previous runs weren’t much good, but blinkers went on last start and she trialed in blinkers before that and went very well.
“Gerald Ryan has suggested we forgot those previous two runs and access her on what she did at Wyong and going on that she is a benchmark here and the $8.50 really appeals.
“There is precedence to say that Wyong is the right lead-up for this.
“I think she is a great chance.”
Hijack Hussy remains a clear favourite in 2015 Magic Millions Guineas odds of $3.50, but Exelby revealed that he is happy to leave the Hussonet filly out of his selections after she suffered two surprise losses in the Listed Mode Plate (1200m) at Doomben on December 6 and the Group 3 Vo Rogue Plate (1300m) at the Gold Coast on December 27.
Exelby said that he could not back Hijack Hussy at her current quote and would rather be on Aerobar as well as have an each-way bet on Bold Circle, who returned to winning form in the Rewards Handicap (1200m) at Royal Randwick on New Year’s Day.
“Her two runs since coming back to Brisbane have been good, but she has been beaten both times,” Exelby said.
“I am going elsewhere here.
“Bold Circle is drawn terribly here, but it was a good win in Sydney first-up; the margin wasn’t huge, but he only saw daylight late and really sprinted nicely when he did get the gaps.
“He has form around some pretty nice horses and I think Bold Circle can run well.”
Tales Of Fashion ($26 into $17) has been the best-backed runner in 2015 Magic Millions Guineas betting markets, while Aerobar ($8 out to $8.50) and Bold Circle ($12 out to $13) have both been on the drift with Ladbrokes.
