Mongolian Khan proved his worth as a tough stayer when he beat English raider Trip To Paris and German import Our Ivanhowe in the Group 1 $3m BMW Caulfield Cup (2400m) at Caulfield during last year’s Melbourne Spring Carnival.

But the Murray Baker trained Kiwi galloper has failed to regain his Spring form after recovering but a very severe bout of colic which forced him to miss running in the Group 1 $6m Emirates Melbourne Cup (3200m) at Flemington.

Baker is reluctant to blame the colic attack for his poor Autumn Carnival form and instead insists that the four year old stallion has other things on his mind.

“He’s just not quite putting in,” Baker told Racenet.

“I think he’s got very one-paced this time in.

“He’s thinking about the mares.”

Mongolian Khan was bred in Tasmania before making is his way into Baker’s Cambridge stables and then went on to claim three Group 1 trophies.

As well as winning the Caulfield Cup, Mongolian Khan was a dual Derby winner with victories in the Group 1 NZ$750,000 TV3 NZ Derby (2400m) at Ellerslie and in the Group 1 $2m BMW Australian Derby (2400m) at Randwick during the 2015 Autumn.

But the Holy Roman Emperor four year old was unable to fill the placings from four Autumn Carnival starts that resulted with a first up eleventh in the Group 1 $600,000 Precise Air Chipping Norton Stakes (1600m) at Randwick followed by a fifth in the Group 1 $700,000 Ranvet Stakes (2000m) and a ninth in the Group 1 $1.5m The BMW (2400m) at Rosehill and a last start eighth to Lucia Valentina in last Saturday’s Group 1 $4m Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) at Randwick.

Mongolian Khan is the winner of eight of his seventeen starts and has earned just under $4 million in prizemoney.

Get real, Yes, it was my choice to read, but I just thought youd have some thing intriguing to express. All I hear can be a couple of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy interested in attention.

My wife and i got quite relieved that Louis could finish up his investigation with the precious recommendations he gained using your weblog. It is now and again perplexing to just find yourself giving for free instructions some people might have been selling. And we all already know we need the writer to be grateful to for this. The entire illustrations you’ve made, the straightforward website menu, the relationships you aid to instill – it is everything incredible, and it’s making our son and our family reason why this theme is excellent, which is exceedingly mandatory. Many thanks for all!

An interesting discussion may be worth comment. There’s no doubt that you should write on this topic, it will not be a taboo subject but generally folks are inadequate to speak on such topics. Yet another. Cheers
